Dangerous Goods
To ensure safety, we follow the international regulations of Dangerous Goods from IATA. Your shipment will be packed and shipped according to the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). This might have an impact on your order depending on your mix of products, mode of shipment and destination.
Which products?
Generally, the following product types are considered Dangerous Goods:
- Aerosol cans
- Many of our perfumes
- Batteries
Transport options:
The Dangerous Goods Regulations are applicable for every mode of transport e.g. Air freight, DHL, TNT, Truck, and Vessel. However, there are vast differences in how strict the regulations are according to mode of shipment and destination.
Most likely you will only encounter the Dangerous Goods Regulations if ALL of the following conditions are fulfilled:
- The mode of shipment is DHL or Airfreight
- Your order contains aerosol cans or perfumes
- The destination is outside of Europe
